Description

Name: Cordelia Desrosiers
PKM Region: Sinnoh
PKM# Roserade #407
Team: Valor
User: ~Kuromitu

::

Ability

--Poison Point
"When a Pokémon with Poison Point is hit by a move that makes contact, there is a 30% chance that the attacking foe will become poisoned."

::

Item

--Poison Barb
"Boosts the power of Poison-type moves by 20% when held."

//It can be observed in the form of a barbed wire with poisoned edges digging into her skin, wrapped around her upper right arm.

::

Moves
:bulletpurple: Sludge Bomb
Poison
Category: Special
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100%
"Sludge Bomb inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target."

//When preparing the attack, there will be a thick, black substance oozing from her mouth. This is a 'leftover' caused by a chemical process occurring inside her stomach, pushing up her throat in intervals between breaths. This substance is extremely poisonous, can eat through flesh, and even melt holes in the ground and other surfaces- however, it's not the main attack. Eventually, she will regurgitate a black marble about the size of an eyeball, and throw it at the opponent. The marble is extremely unstable due to being a lot of sludge condensed into a small ball, and will explode and cover the opponent in the substance upon contact.

:bulletgreen: Giga Drain
Grass
Category: Special
Power: 75
Accuracy: 100%
"Giga Drain will inflict damage on the target and ½ of the damage dealt will be restored to the user as HP."

//In order to use Giga Drain, she needs her skin to come in contact with that of her opponent's to drain their energy. If feeling like messing with her enemy's head, she'll use the attack through a kiss, most often on the opponent's lips. When using this attack, the veins in her hands (and neck, although not visible due to clothing) will protrude on her skin and thicken grotesquely.

:bulletpurple: Poison Jab
Poison
Category: Physical
Power: 80
Accuracy: 100%
"Poison Jab inflicts damage and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target."

// She has a set of barbs inside the skin of her hands. Much like the retractable claws of a cat, she can whip out barbs from the top of her knuckles at will, but will usually only use them for her Poison Jab. To attack, she will ball up her fists with the barbs widely exposed and use them as sort of brass knuckles. If succeeding in punching her opponent, the barbs will dig and tear into their flesh, injecting venom, much like snake fangs. Can make either a clean dig in and out, or drag the barbs across their skin to slash like claws.

:bulletyellow: Spikes ** Egg Move - Cacturne father
Ground
Category: Status
Power: --
Accuracy: --%
"Spikes sets an entry hazard around the enemy team's field. Pokémon who switch into the spike-ridden field take 12.5% of their maximum HP in damage."

//Think earthbending for this one. To use Spikes, she will sharply hit or jab the ground with a body part (hands, feet, elbows) and 'control', so to say, the earth. This will cause a change in the arena itself, with spikes jutting up from the ground. The spikes are extremely sharp and could rip through the soles of shoes if stepped on and if the spike itself is large enough. Most will be anywhere between two to three inches, but there can be bigger or smaller.

:bulletwhite: Attract
Normal
Category: Status
Power: --
Accuracy: 100%
"If the target is the opposite gender of the Pokémon who launched the move, the target becomes infatuated."

//Cordelia being who she is, she will flirt with the opponent to distract them. Heavily. And she's good at it. If feeling confident enough in having them in her hook, she might even use touching or kissing to catch them off-guard and attack when they're vulnerable.

:bulletgreen: Petal Dance
Grass
Category: Special
Power: 120
Accuracy: 100%
"A dance-like attack that lasts two to three turns. Afterwards, the attacker becomes confused."

//She will sort of 'summon', per say, flower petals in the air. The petals will fly around the arena with free-will, but will be sharp enough to cut both hers and her opponent's skin. Meanwhile, she will unleash a barrage of physical attacks loosely reminiscent of Capoeira in a two-person melee. Due to certain abilities she possesses and the extreme, wild, acrobatic movements of the attack, she will be left heavily disoriented and dizzy for a while after its use.

Fighting Style

She has much war-time experience and is extremely used to being in the battle field- in fact, she sees battling as a form of relaxation. That's how comfortable she is with it. However, even with all her years of experience, she still tends to underestimate her enemies and get cocky simply because she deems anyone without war experience inferior.

Due to her light bones and weight, Cordelia's very easy to throw off balance and breaking her bones is more of an option with her than with others. Because she hurts easily, she relies on her speed to snap in an out of range, tiring and poisoning her opponent out while taking the least amount of hits possible. She has high stamina, but gets bored and frustrated very easily, which could lead to her demise.

Despite the cons that she is well-aware of, Cor itches for close-range battles. She will start off by trying to keep away from her opponent and using attacks from a distance or through hit-and-run strategy. If the battle drags on, she'll become frustrated and move in close and personal. By this time the enemy will hopefully be tired out through either the attacks or the poison.

Keep in mind that Cor's used to resorting to murder due to her war experience. She's very rash and easily railed up- if push comes to shove, she'll become so frustrated and angered that she might actually try to seriously harm her opponent. Getting her furious can be beneficial by making her more rash in her attacks and paying less attention to the damage she's taking in, but it can also be bad by causing her to become dangerous and disregard regulations against causing permanent damage. Old habits die hard.

Notes

-Does NOT play fair. If she sees an opportunity, she will /take/ it, not matter how underhanded it might be. All's fair in love and war.

-When preparing for Sludge Bomb, she will considerably slow down. It's hard to run around and perform acrobatics while constantly puking up something almost as thick as molasses, you know?

-Will /not/ feel any guilt whatsoever if injuring her opponent.

-She's very confident and boastful (internally) of her powers, so it's easy for her to underestimate her opponent.

-Her blood is toxic. If cut and bleeding, her enemy should be careful of not getting her blood on their own open wounds, lest they be poisoned. Yikes.

-The Poison Barb is digging into her skin. With enough movement, it can cut through it. This is both good and bad- good, because she's being hurt. Bad because this is what causes her poison attacks to be stronger- there's more venom in her system.

-Despite Petal Dance being her most powerful attack, she will hold back from using it unless needed. She's not very fond of the attack, but it serves its purpose good. Mostly only used at the end of the fight to finish it.

-Her signature attack is Sludge Bomb.

-Uses Spikes as a distraction or to get her opponent's footing loose rather than as an actual attack.

-She has scars over her knuckles from where the barbs of her Poison Jab jut out from. Said barbs are somewhere between half to one inch long.
